Raihanullah Mohmand, from Afghanistan, is a recent graduate of the HSE Master's in Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication. He is currently based in Moscow and preparing to pursue a PhD in communication and journalism studies. Raihanullah told the HSE News Service about why the university meets his expectations both in the classroom and beyond, how the challenges of adapting to a new country helped broaden his academic perspective, and what an afternoon in the park can teach about intercultural communication.

The navigation system, developed by specialists from the Laboratory for Intelligent Unmanned Systems at HSE MIEM, is designed to search for missing people and allows the unmanned vehicle to autonomously execute route missions without satellite navigation.
